Humminbird Fishfinder 535 - One Of The Best Portable Fishfinders Around

Author: Niall Pesci

So you are looking for a portable fishfinder? Not a problem when you use the Humminbird 535. This fishfinder is one of the best portables around because it offers a nice, large screen that is clear as well as offering you some of the best in Fishfinder technology out there. Let's take a closer look to see how this portable unit can benefit just about any fish finding adventure.

We should start with the display. It is a high definition, 320V by 320V, five inch UltraBlack with contrast enhancement. This is important to note because it is a relatively large screen for a portable unit. On top of that, it offers a good, high definition black and white contrast so that you get a clear picture of what is happening below your boat.

And, how will it deliver this picture? It uses a 20 degree single beam of sonar that is optimized for coverage and precision details of the bottom. 20 degrees gets you an image of not only what is below your boat but also what is next to it. This will help you know if you need to shift one way or another to lure your fish.

But, it offers even more.

You get reliability as well, that goes from the shallowest of water to that which is 800 feet. Perfect for just about any location. The sonar itself is amazing in that it is Real Time Sonar which will deliver for you a picture that is virtually instant. This allows you to follow your prey and know just where its headed immediately.

Another feature worth mentioning is the Sonar Echo Enhancement. This allows you to see even the smallest of jigs to a depth of 40 feet. You can actually watch as your bait lures in your fish. You can see him latch on as well! Imagine that!

Of course, being portable, you can easily move it from place to place. It comes with a rugged case powered by 2 lantern batteries. Perfect for the waters ahead no matter the conditions.
